The 4th CIMentos Annual Assembly will turn CITEXVI into a meeting point for the scientific community of the Marine Research Centre of the University of Vigo on 28 October. The event will bring together CIM research and technical staff with the aim of learning about and sharing the science currently being carried out at the centre, exchanging ideas and experiences, and fostering new collaborations between research groups and areas. The programme will combine scientific presentations and poster sessions with opportunities for networking and discussion. It will also include the presentation of the 2026 CIM Award to researcher Liliana Rusu, from Dunărea de Jos University of Galați (Romania).
For this edition, the Assembly’s Scientific Committee is made up of the coordinators of CIM Renova, the support programme for postdoctoral researchers: Diego Fernández Novoa, Estefanía Paredes Rosendo, Iria García Moreiras and Jorge Eiras Barca.
CIM staff interested in presenting their work may submit proposals for either an oral presentation or a poster. Abstracts, with a maximum length of 600 words, must be written in English and sent to cim@uvigo.gal. The deadline for abstract submissions is 21 September 2026.
Participation in the 4th CIMentos Annual Assembly requires prior registration. Both those presenting a contribution and those wishing to attend the event must complete the registration process.
